Welcome to Auburn Pinto – Second Edition.
Not that the first addition wasn’t great, but it lacked in certain areas. Not exactly sure where, but it was like being tempted by the smell of a delicious, garlic-and-cheesy-based pasta dish, and then tasting it to find it rather…bland. Hopefully my new approach to this blog will provide the necessary zest.
This doesn’t mean that I’m going to discard all my past work – they’re comfortably tucked beneath ‘older work’ for those who want a glimpse of the foundations.
For everything else, here’s the nitty-gritty:
I’m an amateur novelist, aspiring journalist, bibliophile, messy artist with a dark sense of humour who detest rude people, suffer from novinophobia, and prefer the sound volume on even numbers.
Here, on this small cyberspace page, you’ll find the chaos that erupts my subconscious neatly constructed into stories. Some fictional and others inspired by bizarre characters. There is a method to my madness, and if you can find the thread linking the divides, you might just enjoy my work.
What’s in a name?
Auburn Pinto is a pseudonym.
She is the writer and Madré is the dreamer. They work quite well together (if we have to say so ourselves). In the larger picture, the name doesn’t matter. You need to know what something is, not what it’s named. And this is our passion – writing.
